Anyone else notice this?

Last week, Ted Koppel of ABC announced that he was leaving Nightline.

Yesterday, it was announced that Peter Jenning of ABC has been diagnosed with lung cancer. this will most probably have an affect on his ability to anchor the news.

We know that Dan Rather of CBS stepped down in March.

Also, Tom Brokaw of NBC retired at the end of last year.

The world is currently in the midst of mourning the death of John Paul II.

Monaco's Prince Rainer III passed away this morning.

Add to this list the famed O.J. Simpson lawyer, Johnnie Cochran.

Even the Moral Majority's, Rev. Falwell, has been hosptialized for the second time in a month.

I do not understand the significance of all this as yet but I do recognize it as significant!
